Back in 2013, a computer engineer accidentally threw out a hard drive containing Bitcoin, which came to be worth over $300 million USD! Hoping for a miracle, in early 2021, James Howells offered more than $75million USD to the city council of Newport, Wales for the successful recovery of the hard drive—which was sadly turned down.

How it works:

Crypto Security Kit comes with 16 ready-to-use forms. The booklet, its pages, and envelope are visually distinct and easy to locate when you need them.
Fill out the form.
The instructions included in the booklet walk you through filling out the forms, with fields for all your crypto exchanges, hardware devices, wallets and apps.
Use the security envelope.
Place your completed forms in the security envelope that comes with your kit. Don’t photocopy or share these forms (keep your data safe!).
Lock it up.

When we were first getting started, we saw significant holes in keeping our crypto safe. We considered all of the options – and were using them ourselves – until we realized we were still at risk. Even with all we know ourselves, we still ran into problems, as it wasn’t consistent, it wasn’t easy, and we didn’t have a system… we saw a problem we just had to solve!
Today we work on a variety of blockchain projects together, from NFTs to Token launches. In our field, we see and hear so many stories of people losing their crypto, because they secured their keys in ways that aren’t safe. This can happen both because the user doesn’t know any better, or because it just isn’t convenient to save it another way (like on paper).
In addition to solving these problems, we wanted to create a product that was affordable and accessible for anyone starting out in crypto, and even the early adopters who already have a list of wallets ready to track. We believe in decentralized currency, financial autonomy and security for all, and see the multiple uses for blockchain as our pathway to the future.
